1. What was the highlight of your 2021 football season?

I could definitely say there were so many highlights during the season!! The best in my opinion though, was a last-second touchdown and 2-pt conversion after a 98yd drive to steal our first district win against Eastwood High

2. What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?

Challenges come with every team in every season. As a team, I think overcoming hardship was the biggest challenge we had to overcome. This was greatly displayed in a comeback win this year against Montwood High, down 24-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter we overcame so much doubt, and conflict, and we showed what we were made of.

3. If you could give advice to an incoming freshmen football player, what would it be?

I would tell them to have fun, don’t make football more stressful than it has to be. At the end of the day, you are playing a game that will end sooner or later, work your hardest to perfect your craft and become the best player you can!! Relax and play football, never let the moment seize you.

4. If you could be a Super Hero, which one would you pick and why?

I would definitely be Superman, I don’t think much explanation is needed. The greatest most powerful man to walk the earth is what I’m striving to be, while helping people the most I can. Whether it be through football, life, etc.

5. If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?

I would take a football, I always have a ball with me everywhere I go. We’re at church, don’t worry, I got a ball in the car!! Next, I would take my phone because I can’t live without it, it keeps me sane lol. Lastly, I would take some type of weapon, whatever it may be just to protect myself and hunt.

 6. If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself successful, owning and controlling my own clothing line. I look to major in small business management, so I believe that I will be successful in due time.

7. What is your go-to pre-game pump-up song?

TTG- Youngboy Never Broke Again

8. What is your favorite football or sports movie?

When the Game Stands Tall

9. Name a teammate that:

Improved the most this year: Robert Deal

Is most likely to become President: Brandon Cardenas

Has the best Tik Toks: Ghazi Al-Hofry

Is most likely to become a high school football coach: Tyrese White / Marcus Torres

10.  Why do you love football?

Football is my escape, it’s always been my safe place and I don’t think I could live without it. This sport was my first love, all the problems, stress, and anger is taken from my life for those 2 hrs on the field every practice. Football has always found a way of teaching me something new, whether it’s in the actual game or about being the best man I can be. Football is the best sport in the world, it takes away regular world problems and lets you live for a moment in this fast life we live.
