1. What was the highlight of your 2021 football season?
Even though we lost it was when I scored 4 touchdowns in 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter that brought us from being down 28-0 to a tie 28-28. Although Cy-ranch came out on top scoring their last drive, that game was a huge highlight of my season.
2. What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?
When we were down by 2 touchdowns in the first round of the playoffs against Klein Collins with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter. We came back and won from our bread and butter goal-line play, Andrew Maleski on a corner route and Conner Weigman put it where no one else could get it except Andrew. It was an emotional and exciting win.
3. If you could give advice to an incoming freshmen football player, what would it be?
Don’t take any days off even when you’re tired. I remember there were days back when I was a freshman and sophomore that I took days light that I wish I could get back. You never realize how much those few days can really benefit you in the future.
4. If you could be a Super Hero, which one would you pick and why?
Superman because he has a range of powers like flight, super speed, super strength, super hearing and laser vision; it would be dumb not to choose him.
5. If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
My phone, tv, and a bed
6. If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A financial advisor/ manager for a company or collegiate/ professional sports team.
7. What is your go-to pre-game pump-up song?
I don’t listen to music, I watch anime before games.
8. What is your favorite football or sports movie?
Friday Night Lights, 42 or The Blind Side
9. Name a teammate that:
- Improved the most this year: Oscar Nana, Ben Birbeck, Reid Mikeska
- Is most likely to become President: Hudson Hopper
- Has the best Tik Toks: Josh Ryan
- Is most likely to become a high school football coach: Nathan Earle
10. Why do you love football?
Football is a place where all my worries go away. Football helps me clear my mind and is my happy place away from the world. When I’m frustrated or irritated with something, football is what I go to to help me release the stress. Although football may get tiring and hard sometimes, I think that’s the glory of the game. If football was too easy all the time, I feel like it wouldn’t be as special as it is to play.
