What was the highlight of your 2020 Season?

Being a team Captain, my highlight was getting to play any game we could in Dallas ISD. As a leader, I was interviewed on the local Fox News channel to encourage the DISD leaders to make a decision to let us play for the season. This was while other schools had already started to play.   We did get to play. The most memorable game for me is when we played against Dallas Pinkston after coming back from not practicing because of Covid for about 2 1/2 weeks together. For most of the game, our defense read the opponent and had lots of wins TOGETHER.  We were reading Offense, and getting to the ball quick. We were all so excited about being on the field together.

Who was the best player on an opposing team that you played against?

Bronya Todd WR Dallas Pinkston

Who is your favorite NFL player?

Von Miller is my favorite player.

What is your favorite sport or activity besides football?

Basketball and Video Games

What is your favorite subject in school?

AP US History

A.  a Madden tournament? BJ Higgins QB

B.  a Dance-Off competition? David Johnson RB

C. 40-yard dash challenge? Kyja Powell WR

D. a Bench Press challenge? Me

Why do you love football?

I have played this sport since I was 5 years old.  It teaches you about working hard, how to be a teammate, and a leader. It also is fun when you win together. This game lets me express myself and compete amongst the best. There is nothing like this brotherhood. Also, I am very physical and love to show my aggression on the field. It helps me stay focused and I love when I read the offense and get the job done!  It’s also fun because I get to catch the ball in unexpected situations.  With my hands and power, catching the ball and getting yards on Offense is always fun too!
