1: What was the highlight of your 2023 football season?
Becoming district champions was one of my greatest highlights from the 2023 season. It raises the bar even higher for the 2024 season ahead, and motivates me to push even harder for the upcoming season
2: What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?
Defeating Denton Guyer was a challenge for the team because they have some serious players there. Going into that game, it was personal for multiple players on that field. The preparation for that week was like no other for the team. The intensity we practiced with and the energy we brought to the field was nothing but exceptional.
3: If you could give advice to an incoming freshman football player, what would it be?
Comparison is not worth your time at all. Keep your head up, stay consistent in everything you do, and never stop working. Always remember, you have to want it more for yourself than anybody else will want it for you, and just try to be better than you were yesterday.
4: If you could be a Superhero, which one would you pick and why?
Batman – besides having all the cool gadgets and the iconic costume with such a dark persona, he has unwavering discipline, determination, and commitment to his city and keeping it safe.
5: If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
I would bring something to play music indefinitely, my dogs, and a ball to keep myself and my dogs entertained.
6: If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I would own a trade business, a construction and civil engineering company, or a chain of service shops.
7: What is your go-to pre-game pump-up song?
My pregame playlists are all over the place, but one song that never fails to get me motivated is “Whatever” by Godsmack.
8: What is your favorite football or sports movie?
The Waterboy. Nothing beats Bobby Boucher
9: Name a teammate that:
A: Improved the most this year:
Tyson Stiggers
B: Can bench press the most:
Jake Johnson
C: Has the fastest 40:
Walker Hassel
D: Has the best dance moves:

E: Is most likely to become a high school football coach:
Bryce Gilmore
10: Why do you love football?
I love football because it has been such a transformative journey for me. When I moved to Texas in the summer of 7th grade, I hadn’t played football in a while. I wanted to try out just for fun, and to meet people at my new school. In 7th and 8th grade, I made the B-teams, and my focus was having fun with my new friends and teammates. Freshman year, I made A-team, and loved the intensity and rigor of the program at THE Prosper High. In 10th grade, I made the JV A-team, and I saw my friends making varsity, and I felt driven to get there too. The journey from 7th grade to earning D1 offers and committing to Sam Houston State University has taught me so much about resilience, growth, and trusting the process. It’s not just about proving myself to others; it’s about constantly challenging myself to improve, both on and off the field. Football has given me a deep sense of commitment to bettering myself and my team, and it continues to inspire me every day. I can’t wait for my senior season and to start with the family in Huntsville in January. The Over Me, Eat ’em up, Kats!
