1: What was the highlight of your 2021 football season?

2. What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?
As a team, our biggest challenge was playing against bigger, older athletes. As a new school, we didn’t have any seniors but still played as a 5A Independent. We play this coming season as 6A in Katy ISD, but we will also have our first senior class. As a player, my biggest challenge was having to sit out the second half of the season with a broken collarbone and watch my teammates have all the fun and not be able to help them out.
3. If you could give advice to an incoming freshmen football player, what would it be?
Focus on your grades. They will soon matter much more than you realize now. You’re being recruited seems like a long way off, but it comes around in what feels like a blink. Also, cherish every minute. You never know when the next play could take you away from the game you love for too long. And get used to promoting yourself, even if it feels a little like bragging. You have to let people know who you are, and unless you’re a 5-Star, nobody’s going to do it for you!
4. If you could be a Super Hero, which one would you pick and why?
The Flash. Because I can relate to him
5. If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
The Bible (with a picture of my girlfriend in it), food, water
6. If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
That’s a tough one. I really don’t know. A coach maybe? A businessman like my dad? If not in the NFL, hopefully on the US Olympic Track Team!

Besides my highlight film lol? Probably Facing the Giants

10. Why do you love football?
So many reasons. It is an adrenaline rush. From the time I watched older kids and then my big brother play, I was dying to play. I’ve always kind of enjoyed getting knocked around too. I love hitting and actually like being hit (most of the time lol). I love making other people miss. I love being around my teammates. I LOVE the feeling of coming from behind and winning!
