The Woodlands vs. George Ranch

The Longhorns struggled in their past two games, dropping one to the Dickinson Gators and edging out Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (Mexico). They’re not getting off the hook easy, as their next task is The Woodlands Highlanders, who have a stout defensive front. The Woodlands is coming off a big win at Katy, and looks to keep the momentum rolling.

Odessa Permian vs. Bishop Timon St. Jude (Buffalo, NY)

Bishop Timon St. Jude is in for the culture shock of a lifetime when they travel to Odessa. The Panthers are proving that they’re still the class of West Texas 6A teams with a big win over Vandegrift in Week One and two blowout victories in Weeks Two and Three.

Keller Fossil Ridge vs. Rowlett

Both of these teams have slightly surprising 3-0 records in predistrict play. Their stats are eerily similar, they’re averaging nearly the exact same amount of points scored per game and points allowed per game. This is one of the most underrated matchups in a week that features a ton of teams on byes.

Denton Ryan vs. Frisco Lone Star

Lone Star throttled a good Lovejoy team last week and Denton Ryan beat Wylie East soundly. This game doesn’t have many playoff implications, but the two offenses are worth the price of admission.

Lewisville vs. Euless Trinity

The Farmers are traveling to Euless to take on the titanic Trojans. Lewisville only has a loss to surging Rowlett, and is home to receiver Tyrell Shavers, who pulled this off last week. Shavers and the Farmers will have their hands full with Trinity’s size.
