After spending the first four weeks of the season sidelined, the top pick from the 2017 NFL Draft is ready to make his debut. Per Adam Schefter, former Texas A&M and Arlington Martin defensive end Myles Garrett will play in his first regular season game on Sunday for the Cleveland Browns against the New York Jets.

Garrett had missed the first four weeks of the season after suffering a right ankle injury during practice last month prior to Cleveland’s first game. He had also battled injuries during rookie minicamp and the preseason as well.
He’ll be a welcome addition for a Cleveland defensive line and a team that is still looking for their first win of the season. Browns head coach Hue Jackson told cleveland.com earlier this week that Garrett would be on a ‘pitch count’ in order to not put too much pressure on the talented rookie.
Kickoff from Cleveland is at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday.
