Shadow Creek receiver CJ “Robin Hood” Guidry commits to Houston

Shadow Creek wide receiver Carlton “CJ” Guidry- known as “Robin Hood” to his fans- announced his commitment to the University of Houston on Saturday via Twitter:

Like many athletes during the age of COVID-19, Guidry decided to choose a school close to home. Guidry admitted in an interview with Fifth Quarter that his early commitment was, in fact, due to the impacts on recruiting due to the novel virus. He has not had an official visit to campus.

The three-star athlete is ranked as the 110 wide receiver in the nation in the 2021 recruiting class according to a 247sports composite.

The state champion has totaled 53 receptions, 1,216 yards, 15 touchdown receptions, and one kickoff return for a touchdown in his career with Shadow Creek.
