The hunt for a new Athletic Director continues in the small area of Skidmore-Tynan in South Texas after the school board failed to vote in Daniel Oelschlegel on Thursday.
Former Skidmore-Tynan Athletic Director and head football coach John Livas announced his resignation at the beginning of April following a 29-44 record and two playoff appearances in seven seasons with the Bobcats.
Oelschlegel is currently the offensive coordinator at Richland High School in North Richland Hills and was recommended to the board by S-TISD Super Intendant Dr. Dustin Barton. The board The motion to vote in Oelschlegel was defeated by a 4-3 count.
