Southlake Carroll improved to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in district play with a dominant 49-6 win over V.R. Eaton on Friday night.
The Dragons entered off a 35-17 win over Keller Central, while Eaton came in 1-3 after a 52-34 loss to Byron Nelson.
Carroll jumped ahead 14-0 in the first quarter and led 28-6 at halftime. The Dragons added 21 more unanswered points after the break to put the game away.
Southlake Carroll has a bye next week before hosting Northwest on Oct. 9. Eaton hosts Keller Central on Oct. 8.
