Southlake Carroll Takes Down NW Eaton to Stay Unbeaten
Southlake Carroll scored one point better than their season average as they beat Northwest Eaton (7-2) 47-24 to remain unbeaten at 8-0. It was the Dragons’ fourth straight win over the Eagles.

Dragons QB Kaden Anderson passed for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns and added 1 rushing score. His season numbers: 1714 yards, 20 TDs, 4 INT.
RB Owen Allen led the ground game with 163 yards and 3 touchdowns, averaging 7 yards per rush. He has rushed for over 1000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.
Anderson targeted TE RJ Maryland (6 catches, 116 yards, 1 TD) and WR Jacob Jordan (6 receptions, 55 yards, and 1 TD).
According to 247sports, Maryland is a hard commit to Boston College.
The Dragons raced out to a 28-10 lead at halftime. NW Eaton made a game of it in the second half, outscoring Southlake Carroll 14-3 in the 4th quarter, but it wasn’t enough.
Eaton was led by QB Tyler Fussell, who passed for 218 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. For the season, he has thrown for 1680, 14 touchdowns, 4 INTs. RB J.B. Brown paced the rushing attack with 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. He has rushed for 1177 yards, 12 touchdowns, and is averaging 7 yards per rush.
WR Charles Whitebear caught eight of Fussell’s passes for 132 yards and 1 touchdown. His production this season: 48 catches, 681 yards, and 5 touchdowns.
Southlake Carroll host Keller Timber Creek next Friday. Northwest Eaton has a BYE week next week.
