The Bulldogs’ defense showcased their dominance, forcing two crucial interceptions by Chad Woodfork and Brandon Jones. Jashaud Johnson made his mark defensively, tallying nine tackles, including a sack and two tackles for loss, keeping Kingwood’s offense at bay throughout the night.
With this win, Summer Creek extended its winning streak to eight games, maintaining its momentum as it heads into a high-stakes matchup against North Shore next Friday. North Shore, undefeated in district play, will look to claim the outright district title, but Summer Creek aims to secure a share.
