North Crowley has canceled their game this week against Mansfield Legacy. This will be the 25th game in the Fort Worth area that has been canceled due to the COVID-19.
Three Panthers football players tested positive for the virus. The rest of the team, including coaches, are quarantining out of precaution. A decision on the following week’s game against Fort Worth Paschal has not yet been made.
The Panthers are 1-1 on the season. They beat Crowley, 13-0, in week one at home. In week two, they played at The Colony and lost a close 21-24 game. Coming off of a 3-7 season in 2019 and a 2-8 season in 2018, the Panthers were looking to have a bounce-back year and post a winning record. They have a strong defense, led by a lot of returning players, and an offense that showed signs of getting going in week two. They have seven games left on their schedule, finishing up on December 4th against Fort Worth Haltom.
