The highlight of my 2020 season was the summer workouts. I really enjoyed coming early in the morning everyday and working together with my family to get better and build this program up. It payed off in the season especially after last year when we went 2-8. To finish with a winning record this year really spoke volumes of the work we put in the summer workouts and the off-season.
Ben Hartman, Lake Travis High School
Starting my first varsity home game for sure. We have a tradition before every home game called the “walk of champions,” where our entire team, coaches, and drummers from the band, walk down the main drag to Cavalier Stadium, to the beat of the drums. All the fans are lined up along the walk and are cheering. It’s an amazing feeling, and the first time I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest.
DK Kalu, Ridge Point High School
Making it to the 4th round
Jordyn Bailey, Denton Ryan
The semifinal game against Cedar Park we were up by a td just starting the 2nd half and coach called my number and I scored a TD.
