Southlake Carroll head coach and athletic director Riley Dodge! Coach Dodge knows what it means to wear the Dragon green as it is his high school alma mater and he’s been leading one of the most tradition-rich programs in the state with the same pride he once played with.
In 2018, Riley stepped into a role that most people can only dream about becoming the head coach of his alma mater, where he once starred as quarterback and helped bring home three state titles. Now, he’s leading the next generation of Dragons, building off a trip to the state championship game this past season, and continuing to grow a program that expects excellence.
Taylor and Coad Dodge talk about what that journey has looked like, what it’s like coaching in a community that lives and breathes Southlake football, how his team is gearing up this offseason, and yes we’ll even get into what he’s learned from growing up under the guidance of his dad, legendary coach Todd Dodge.
