Texas HS Football Top 20 Rankings: 6A

The first Texas HS Football Top 20 6A rankings of the 2026 season are here, post week 1, and North Shore opens at No. 1.

The Mustangs lead a loaded group that includes Allen at No. 2, C.E. King at No. 3, Waxahachie at No. 4 and North Crowley at No. 5.

Southlake Carroll, Katy, Coppell, Ridge Point and Shadow Creek round out the top 10.

The second half of the rankings includes several traditional powers. Denton Guyer comes in at No. 11, followed by Westlake, Vandegrift, Cibolo Steele and Longview.

SA Johnson is No. 16, with Duncanville, Summer Creek, The Woodlands College Park and Cy Ranch completing the Top 20.

With the 2026 season underway, these rankings will continue to change as top programs face major tests across the state.
