Simply put, it was a remarkable year for DeSoto. The Eagles won their first state championship in school history and had a record number of signees to play college football on National Signing Day.
However, the Eagles must also turn the page after losing a record-setting senior class that won 52 games since their freshman year. How are they going to do that? TexasHSFootball.com caught up with DeSoto head coach Todd Peterman to talk about the state championship, National Signing Day and where the Eagles go from here in 2017.
