Top 5 Texas High School Offensive Football Players Entering Their Senior Season
As the new Texas high school football season begins, our attention focuses on the offensive standout seniors. Once the numbers countdown on the scoreboard to zero, each competitor will leave the local gridiron and join college programs throughout the nation.
Beneath the Friday night lights, these are the 2025 class standouts who will take one last ride in their final season before graduation:
Michael Terry III (Alamo Heights, WR)
Terry III competes as an ATH. Outside of his wide receiver duties, Terry III has been productive as running back, off-ball linebacker, and hybrid tight end.
As a junior, the Alamo Heights starter earned District 13-5A MVP honors, rushing for 995 yards and 20 TDs, as well as 564 yards receiving and 10 TDs.
Currently, there’s a three-way battle to garner Terry III’s commitment, with offers from Texas, Texas A&M, and Oregon.
Dakorien Moore (Duncanville, WR)
On the Fourth of July, Moore celebrated the holiday by announcing his commitment to Oregon.
As a sophomore, Moore played a crucial part in leading Duncanville to triumphing in the 6A Division I state championship. Last season, Moore caught more than 70 passes for 1,500+ yards and 18 TDs.
His foot speed is what really separates him from his class, showcasing his abilities on the nationally-known Duncanville sprint relay team during the offseason.
Ty Haywood (Denton Ryan, OT)
Last month, Haywood decided to roll with the Crimson Tide—a college renowned for developing offensive lineman for the professional level. During this past season, Haywood had 58 pancakes and zero sacks for the Raiders.
Haywood is one of nine different DFW local competitors who have committed to the SEC so far this summer.
Kaliq Locket (Sachse, WR)
Lockett spent his summer visiting numerous college campuses before deciding to join the Longhorns last week, crediting Burnt Orange wide receivers coach and recruiter Chris Jackson.
As a junior, the physically gifted prospect accounted for 1,299 yards and 13 touchdowns for 118 ypg — a big leap from his 43 ypg he accounted for as a sophomore.
From the time Lockett entered high school, he received varsity snaps since his freshman year.
Michael Fasus (Lewisville, OT)
As of this writing, Fasusi won’t make his college choice until August 21st, narrowing his top five to include Texas A&M and UT.
The 6-foot-5, 295 pounder remains one of the best offensive tackles in the country who hasn’t committed.
Fasusi is also a multi-sport athlete, competing in both the shot put and discus throw.
