The UIL met today, Tuesday the 29th, and denied the appeals for eligibility by athletes from Chilton High School and a student-athlete from Buda Johnson High School, who were determined to have transferred schools for non-athletic purposes.
The UIL also released the following press release about an upcoming meeting:
AUSTIN, Texas — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League will convene at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 30 via teleconference to determine the eligibility of student-athletes. It will be available Live on the UIL State Executive Committee Page. Please note that there is no physical location for this meeting in order to ensure safe social distancing, and it is only accessible via the live stream.
