AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Wednesday to hand down decisions on the eligibility of student-athletes.
Three student-athletes from Orange Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School, a student-athlete from College Station A&M Consolidated, and a student-athlete from Marlin High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.
A student-athlete from Orange Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School was granted an appeal for varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, it was determined that this student did not change schools for athletic purposes.
