State Executive Committee

The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Wednesday to hand down decisions on the eligibility of student-athletes.

The Issues

  1. Corpus Christi Flour Bluff High School: Appeal of District 29-5A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student-Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes.
  2. Laredo Alexander High School: Appeal of District 32-6A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student-Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes.

The Ruling

Student-athletes from Corpus Christi Flour Bluff High School and Laredo Alexander High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.
