Westlake Announces New 2020 Schedule With Sept. 25 Start

| | ,

Westlake took to their Twitter page to announce their new schedule for the 2020 season. The new schedule starts on September 25th with a home game against Cedar Park and then concludes on the day after Thanksgiving, November 27th, with a road game against rival Lake Travis.

In the case that you have missed why the defending 6A-2 State Champions have to start their season on September 25th, and not August 28th, it is because of a UIL mandate that all 5A and 6A schools delay the start of their training camps from August 3rd to September 7th. You can read the UIL’s full announcement here.
