The Willis Wildkats have a new Head Football Coach. The Wildkats have hired Trent Miller. Miller was the Head Coach for Spring last 5 years.
Miller did a great job as the coach of the Spring Lions. He took a below .500 team, with a 5-6 record in 2018, and went 28-6 over the last three seasons. The Spring Lions were a regular in our Top 10 teams in the state over the past two seasons, and they reached the third round of the playoffs in both years.
Coach Miller takes over a Wilkats team that went 6-6 last season, which was their best season in a while having only 7 total wins since 2018 until this past season. The program has some momentum, and Miller will look to lead the Wildcats to an above .500 season and compete to win District 13-6A.
