Benjamin picked the Sun Devils over Michigan, Texas, Utah, and Baylor among other schools. The four-star running back will enroll early at Arizona State and may have an opportunity to see the field early in Tempe.
Benjamin becomes the third Texan in Arizona State’s 2017 class, along with Lubbock-Cooper safety Ty Thomas and Mansfield Lake Ridge linebacker Loren Mondy.
Benjamin rushed for 2,587 yards and 28 touchdowns this past season for Wylie East.
