Schulenburg names Walter Brock new HC after successful run at Granger

Schulenburg has a new head coach after spending the last month searching for Brandon Brown’s replacement.

After stepping down from the position following five years with the Shorthorns, Brown’s successor was named as Walter Brock will inherit the job.

Brock comes from Granger, where he produced a 25-12 record during three seasons, reaching the playoffs each year.

Schulenburg is coming off a 6-5 season, but it dropped down to Class 2A, Division I during the UIL’s biannual realignment.
