Oregon’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ recruiting event has already proved tremendously fruitful by way of Texas with pledges rolling in from Fort Bend Travis wide receiver Arjei Henderson and Hebron cornerback Verone McKinley III.
The latest to join that list becomes Cy Creek wide receiver Miles Battle, who becomes the Ducks fourth commit of the event and the third from Texas.

A four-star pass-catcher, Battle has complied 29 offers to date and committed to the Ducks over options including LSU, Baylor, TCU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and UCLA, among others.
His pledge now lifts Oregon’s 18-man class to No. 5 nationally, trailing just Ohio State, Miami, Penn State and Texas. Prior to ultimately arriving in Eugene in 2018, though, the Houston-area wideout will look to top his junior season campaign, in which Battle hauled in 74 receptions for 1,050 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Standing at 6’4, 188 pounds, Battle is ranked as the nation’s No. 283 player, the No. 50 wide receiver and the No. 38 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
