Kirk Bohls: How much time did you get to see the Longhorns in spring practice and the spring game and what did you think of Mr. [Shane] Buechele coming in as a freshman and trying to win that job in his first year?
Sam Ehlinger: I got to see three practices and the spring game. I was very impressed with them. Very fast, high tempo offense. I think that offense is building a monster right now and it’s going to be amazing once all the parts get put into place. Shane, I really liked. He’s a great quarterback. I think he can come in and start as a freshman. He’s got all the tools right now and can put the ball all over the field. I really hope he brings success to the Longhorns because that’s what we need.
