It won’t be long before Ole Miss fans realize what they have in Greg Little. The former five-star prospect according to 247Sports and incoming freshman looks to be a likely candidate to replace Laremy Tunsil at left tackle via OurLads.
Filling a gigantic gap in the offensive line, Little would be handling the all-important blind side of Chad Kelly, Rebel’s senior quarterback. The former Allen Eagles offensive lineman had an illustrious and extremely productive career in high school. Regarded as one of the best prospects in the country and number one offensive tackle recruit according to 247Sports, Little garnered offers from a broad scope of colleges.
Initially, Little committed to Texas A&M, but eventually de-committed and chose Ole Miss. In addition to the Rebels and Aggies, Little had offers from Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Auburn.
The 6-foot-6, 332-pound offensive tackle has an excellent kick set and quick feet for his size. Little thrives on mirroring pass rushers and using his strong hands to stifle defenders. Ole Miss head coach, Hugh Freeze, has a good problem on his hands when it comes to the left tackle position. Competing with Little for the starting spot are Jeremy Liggins and Alex Givens.
Joining Little on Ole Miss will be a familiar face in Jaylon Jones. The 5-foot-11, 177-pound defensive back was a former teammate with Little on the Allen Eagles. The two went on to have great success, as Allen has been a staple in recent Texas high school football. During their time spent at Allen, the Eagles won three state championships—solidifying them as a premier Texas power.
