Foster has high hopes to make some serious noise in the 5A classification and they proved their worth Saturday night against Seven Lakes at Rhodes Stadium in Katy. After a pair of 3 and outs for both teams Foster began to score basically at will against the Spartans. The scoring started when Foster quarterback Alex Ramart found pay dirt on a one-yard quarterback sneak up the middle with 7:35 left in the firth quarter. The touchdown was setup when Ramart connected with Chandler Speights and a face mask penalty added 15 yards to the play.
Ramart, who finished the night completing 15 of 21 passes for 197 yards and two passing touchdowns, didn’t stop there when on the next possession he capped off the drive with a six-yard run into the end zone. The Falcons slinger connected on his first touchdown pass shortly after the second quarter when he found Chandler Speight on an 18-yard reception in the end zone. The next Seven Lakes possession stalled leading to a punt which was returned by Fosters Cedarian Lamb for 80 yards increasing the Falcon lead to 28-0 with 8:25 left in the half.

Running back Quinton Oliver who ended the night with 10 carries for 68 got into the action on the next possession when he crossed the line for another Falcon score on a two- yard touchdown run making the score 35-0 with 4:40 left in the half. It would appear that the final drive of the half would stall, but Foster was not satisfied with their lead and ran a double pass trick play when Chandler Speights found Cedarian Lamb in the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the half.
The Falcons went into halftime with a 42-0 lead and would later extend that lead with an additional 10 points in the third quarter before Seven Lakes would find the end zone. In the fourth quarter Seven Lakes would tack on two field goals by Nathan Fairwell (32 and 43 yards respectively) and a one-yard run by John Harrington.
Seven Lakes does not get much of a break as they will face Alief Taylor on Saturday at Rhodes Stadium while Foster looks to continue their early season success when they travel to Tomball on Friday.
