1. New England Patriots (7-1)
Bill Belichick could get Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite to be his quarterback and win a few games. Now that he has Tom Brady back he will continue to win more than a few games. The Pats will take on the Seattle Seahawks at home in a Super Bowl XLIX rematch.

2. Dallas Cowboys (7-1)
The Cowboys had the equivalent to a second Bye when they faced the Browns on Sunday. Dallas may have a long day next week when they travel to Pittsburgh and take on Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown.

3. Oakland Raiders (7-2)
“Just win, baby!” That is exactly what the Raiders are doing thanks to their young MVP candidate, Derek Carr. The Raiders are atop the AFC West and get a week off before heading to Mexico to face the Texans on Monday Night Football in two weeks.

4. Atlanta Falcons (6-3)
Matt Ryan continued his MVP campaign against Tampa Bay. The Falcons will have a tough test next week traveling to Philly to take on an Eagles team that hasn’t lost at home yet.

5. Kansas City Chiefs (6-2)
One touchdown is all the Chiefs needed to beat the Jaguars… and four field goals. The Chiefs had to Carolina to take on the defending NFC Champion. Which used to sound daunting, but that just means taking on a 3-6 team this year.

6. Denver Broncos (6-3)
The AFC West used to be the Broncos stomping ground, but it looks it may be the Raiders division now. The Broncos go to New Orleans to take on the hot Saints that have one four out of their last five games.

7. Seattle Seahawks (5-3-1)
After the Seahawks disposed of Rex Ryan’s Bills and what looked to be the healthiest Russell Wilson has been in awhile the Seahawks must get ready to take on the Patriots. The Seahawks will travel to the east coast for Sunday Night Football in a Super Bowl rematch.

8. Houston Texans (5-3)
If the Texans could play every game at home they may be number 1 on this list. If the Texans played every game on the road they may be 32 on the list. Lamar Miller has been the one consistent of the Texans and Brock Osweiler has been the $72 million roller coaster. The Texans had a Bye this week and look to get their first road win of the season against Jacksonville next week.

9. New York Giants (5-3)
Coming off their big win against the Philadelphia Eagles the Giants hosts the Bengals on Monday Night Football. With the whole circus that surrounded the Giants with Odell Beckham Jr. and the kicking net the Giants have more than kept their season afloat.

10. Washington Redskins (4-3-1)
The Redskins were on a Bye this week and it was much needed with almost the whole starting offense on the injury report. The Redskins needed the off week to get ready for the Vikings and playoff push.

11. Minnesota Vikings (5-3)
Looks like the Vikings’ ship is sinking and sinking fast. The Vikings are on a three game skid and the last loss couldn’t have been more heartbreaking. A last second field goal by the Lions tied the game and the Lions win it on the first possession of overtime. The team better plug the holes to their ship fast, because the Lions and Packers are closing.

12. Detroit Lions (5-4)
Detroit snuck one out in Minnesota, with a last second field goal to force overtime. In the overtime the Lions scored on their first possession to win it. If the Lions can continue to win games and the Vikings and Packers continue to struggle they may have a chance at more than just a Wild Card spot.

13. Green Bay Packers (4-4)
The Packers revival tour never didn’t get off to a hot start. This was the Packers game to gain ground on the Vikings, but with the opening kickoff being return for the Colts the Packers were doomed from the start. The Packers head to Nashville this week to take on the rising Titans in a game the Packers need to win.

14. Baltimore Ravens (4-4)
In a surprise victory over divisional rival Steelers the Ravens are back to .500. It took a miraculously terrible onside kick by the Steelers for the Ravens to win, but they held on. The Ravens get what most will call a second Bye Week when they take on the Browns at home on Thursday night.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4)
The 4-1 start the the Steelers got off to now seems like a distant memory. The Steelers were barely playing competitive football for the first three periods in their game against Baltimore. The Steelers better find their way quick, because maybe the hottest team in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys are coming to town.

16. Buffalo Bills (4-5)
After their close lost on Monday Night Football to the Seahawks the Bills will get an extra week to think about it with their Bye Week coming up. They will take their 1-4 AFC record and play the Bengals in Cincinnati in Week 11.
