Shane Mobley lead Sweetwater back into prominence with a state title appearance this year. The Mustangs put on an admirable performance against a powerhouse West-Orange Stark Team, but fell flat. Next year, you’ll be able to catch Mobley’s coaching prowess with the Sealy Tigers.
BREAKING: The Abilene Reporter-News confirms that Sweetwater FB coach Shane Mobley has accepted the position of AD/HFC @ Class 4A DI Sealy.

Mobley completely turned Sweetwater around while he was there. He went 46-16 over five seasons, and made the postseason in three of those seasons.
Sealy went 3-7 in 2016, but it’s a school with rich tradition. The Tigers won four straight state titles from 1994-1997, one of the best runs in Texas High School Football history. If Mobley can turn around Sweetwater, he can turn around just about anything, and he’ll be a welcome addition to the Sealy staff.
