“They’ve been a dream school of mine since I was a little boy; it’s honestly just a blessing. The coaches that are there are amazing and I value every single one of them. To have an offer to play under those men is a blessing; I thank my family and God and everyone that has coached me,” Van Wagoner said via 247Sports.
A three-star prospect, Van Wagoner held 28 total offers and committed to TCU over invitations from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Houston and Arizona, among others. As a junior, Van Wagoner snagged 41 receptions for 759 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He now becomes TCU’s third commit in as many days, joining John Stephens and Eddie Smith. The Horned Frogs 2018 class currently ranks No. 30 nationally and No. 6 in the Big 12.
At 6’1, 176 pounds, Van Wagoner is slotted as the nation’s No. 730 player, No. 126 wide receiver and the No. 98 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
