Former Texas OL Jean Delance Announces Transfer To Florida

 
Former Texas offensive lineman Jean Delance has found a new home to play college football, announcing he was transferring to Florida via his Twitter account on Monday.

The former North Mesquite star departs after receiving his release from Texas on August 16. Delance was one of the highly regarded prospects for Texas in the Class of 2016 and was expected to compete for more playing time this season after seeing action in two games as a true freshman.

Delance is expected to use 2017 as his redshirt season and will be eligible to play in 2018 under head coach Jim McElwain and the Gators.
