Even when they’re not playing, TCU had a break go their way in the polls. The Horned Frogs moved up a spot in the latest Associated Press Poll are now No. 8 in the country.

Oklahoma remains the lone Big 12 team ahead of the Horned Frogs at No. 3. Oklahoma State remains at 15 and their opponent on Saturday, West Virginia, is ranked 23rd to round out the conference’s representation in the Top 25.
Texas Tech, who lost to Oklahoma State Saturday night, remains just outside the Top 25 receiving 10 votes behind Oregon and Florida State. Texas A&M received two votes in the polls after a late rally to defeat South Carolina at Kyle Field.
As for the Horned Frogs, they’ll have a big stage on Saturday with ESPN College GameDay coming to town for their game against West Virginia. Texas Tech travels to Kansas to take on the Jayhawks and Texas A&M hosts No. 1 Alabama on Saturday night in College Station.
