Former Texas Longhorn Commit Taking JUCO Route

TEXARKANA, Texas – A former Texas Longhorn commit will have to take an alternate route to hopefully get back to Austin.

Lagaryonn Carson was a four-star defensive end from Liberty-Eylau high school in Texarkana. Carson was originally a class of 2017 recruit committed to Texas. However, in December of last year, released that he no longer had a scholarship spot with the Longhorns.

Reports surfaced, after he was suspended from his high school team multiple times, that he would not be able to make it to Austin. His Twitter account has been silent for nearly a year, until he posted this tweet.

Carson will be attending Coahoma Community College. The Tigers, who won three games this year, could certainly use the defensive ends talents, no matter how long they may be available to them.
