UIL has released its newest conference cutoffs and enrollment numbers for the next two school years.
Reactions are coming in as several high-profile programs remain at the Class 5A, Division I level, including Dallas Highland Park.
Highland Park is expected to remain Class 5A, Division I by a margin of just 11 kids fewer the cutoff.
Some notable numbers:
Allen ISD is the state’s largest program, reporting an enrollment of just under 7,000 kids — 6,959 to be exact.
Little Elm (2,269) barely squeezes past the Class 6A cutoff, while a young Denton Braswell makes the jump with numbers of 2,345.
Fort Worth’s Boswell and Chisholm Trail are both expected to remain Class 6A with some of the state’s smallest reported numbers at 2,229 and 2,245, respectively.
