Andy Dalton is returning to his home state after signing with the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are bringing a Texas native home!

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the franchise signed a one-year deal with the former Bengal worth up to $7 million with $2 million guaranteed.

The 32-year-old veteran quarterback is a product of Katy, Texas. Dalton played college ball just down the road from AT&T Stadium in Fort Worth for TCU where he led the Horned Frogs to a Rose Bowl berth, so he’s no stranger to the area.

Dalton spent nine seasons with the Bengals leading them to five playoff appearances. With some of the top career-stats in the league, Dalton might just be what Dallas is looking for in the pocket.
