Talk of Emmanuel Duron’s hit on referee Fred Garcia has been the talk of Texas high school football and all over the nation. It made the top headlines on ESPN and was talked about by top talk shows and podcasts. While everyone agrees that the hit on the referee was awful, there is a lot of debate on whether Edinburg was right to have canceled the remainder of their season over the incident.
