Allen RB Kirby Bennett Transferring To Bishop Gorman (NV)

Allen’s run through the playoffs was powered by Kirby Bennett and Brock Sturges. Now, the Eagles will be without half of that powerful running back tandem in 2017. Junior Kirby Bennett announced his intent to transfer from Allen on New Year’s Eve.

Bennett will join a team that won the USA Today High School National Championship, and is tasked with replacing prolific runner Biaggio Ali-Walsh. Gorman was undefeated last year, but will need to replace many excellent senior starters.

Bennett is rated a four-star prospect by both Rivals and 247.
