DeMarkco Butler was hired last month as the Associate Director of Football Operations. This month, he has been fired for sending inappropriate texts to a teenager.

This is not the first firing of the Matt Rhule era at Baylor. Last month a Baylor Assistant Strength Coach was fired after being arrested in a prostitution sting.

Baylor’s Director of Athletic Communications, David Kaye, said in a statement that Butler was no longer employed by Baylor, and that he has no further comment on this matter.

This wasn’t the only piece of info to break yesterday about the Baylor Bears. Ex-player Tre’von Armstead was arrested on Monday in Vegas on charges of domestic battery, resisting arrest, and breaking/tampering with a vehicle. According to TMZ Sports, he kicked out the back window of a cop car.

Matt Rhule was hired by Baylor on December 6th, 2016.
