Baylor receiver KD Cannon is known for his speed, and he’s going to keep on running to the NFL. After a Cactus Bowl record performance, Cannon announced on his Twitter account that he is declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft.

In Tuesday night’s Cactus Bowl against Boise State, he finished with 14 catches for 226 yards and two touchdowns. He was an explosive weapon for a Baylor team that rolled over Boise State in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl after losing the previous six games.
The junior receiver out of Mount Pleasant finishes the season with 1,215 yards and 13 touchdowns and over 3,000 yards receiving for his career. After his final college game in Phoenix, he may end up moving up the draft boards of several NFL teams.
