A three-star prospect out of the Texas powerhouse program, Sturges holds 26 total offers and committed to Arizona State over programs including Arizona, Colorado, Houston, Boise State and Iowa State, among others.
With Sturges now on board, Arizona State’s 2018 class is up to three total pledges, with Sturges being the first offense prospect. Furthermore, Sturges’ pledge gives Todd Graham’s another high-level running back out of The Lone Star State after the Sun Devils nabbed elite Wylie East product Eno Benjamin during the 2017 cycle.
As a junior, Sturges rushed for 1,138 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 53 running back prospect and the No. 121 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
