Starter Baker Mayfield (Lake Travis) is the established starter, so the dismissal only hurts the Sooners in terms of depth. Fortunately, they also have Kyler Murray (Allen) and Austin Kendall, who will continue to compete for the backup spot.
Robinson had graduated early from Mesquite Horn, and participated in the Sooners’ spring practices. He was previously cited for public intoxication the day after Oklahoma’s spring game. Robinson is a former four star recruit.
