A theme has emerged from the Baylor 2018 recruiting class: lots and lots of speed. On Friday afternoon, the class added another speedster when all-purpose back Craig “Sqwirl” Williams announced his commitment to the Baylor Bears.

Williams chose the Bears over Utah and Missouri among other offers.
The senior playmaker had his season cut to just five games in 2016 due to injury, but still ended up earning a second-team all-district selection compiling 459 yards and six total touchdowns in 2016. For his career, Williams has amassed 2,000 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns to go with 606 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Williams becomes Commit No. 19 in the Class of 2018 for the Bears and joins fellow speedsters in Joshua Fleeks of Cedar Hill and Kalon Barnes of Silsbee among others.
Crosby opens their season at home on September 1 against Manvel.
