According to Ian Rapoport, the Denver Broncos have signed longtime Kansas City Chief, Texas Longhorn, and Port Arthur Memorial running back Jamaal Charles to a one-year contract.
Excited to have Jamaal Charles join the Broncos. A great addition to our backfield, and we're thrilled we won't have to play against him!

There’s no question that when Jamaal Charles is healthy, he’s one of the best running backs in the NFL. His speed and lateral movement have left many top defenders in the dust. Charles’s injuries, most recently to his right ACL in 2015, have many wondering if the running back has outlived his shelf life.
We’ll soon find out whether Charles has any gas left in the tank, because the Broncos are in desperate need of a back to provide a threat in a backup role.
