Dallas Cowboy running back Ezekiel Elliott is officially suspended, this time it’ll probably stick.
Elliott had an administrative stay after applying to the U.S. Second Circuit last week. Today, Elliott showed up to court today, and it was decided quite quickly.
From the court, it has denied Elliott’s motion for an injunction pending appeal. This means Elliott will not be available for the Cowboys’ game against Atalnta. However, the court also ordered his appeal to be heard on an expedited basis. This isn’t over yet, but at the same time, Elliott is beginning to run out of options.
Should he serve the six-game suspension starting this weekend, he would return in week 16. The game is against Seattle and is the last home game for Dallas.

Here is the order. Bad news for Zeke. He is now officially suspended. So much for the circuit not being in a hurry. pic.twitter.com/yqVLYYWRhr
