Ebner helps Baylor cruise past Kansas
Trestan Ebner posted 272 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns in Baylor’s 47-14 home win over the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday.
Ebner, a former Henderson star, had kickoff return scores from 100 and 83 yards out to go along with a one-yard touchdown run and an 18-yard touchdown reception from Charlie Brewer (Austin Lake Travis) to help Baylor (1-0, 1-0 Big 12) open the season with a win.
The Bears scored 40 unanswered points against Kansas (0-2, 0-1). Ebner played quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive back at Henderson and was a two-time all-state honoree.
