The former John Tyler star was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2017 and was the lone member of the class who had not enrolled yet. Per Davis, the did not have any further comment on the player’s status.

Miller was ranked as the 24th best prospect in Texas and a Top 25 wide receiver nationally per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He was a playmaker on both sides of the ball for the Lions last season, finishing with 41 catches for 922 yards and 8 touchdowns on offense while also adding 40 tackles, six pass breakups and two interceptions on defense.

The Longhorns are deep at receiver this season but they won’t have Miller in the fold for this season as a contributor. Texas opens their season at home on September 2 against Maryland.
