When you’re a growing community like the town of Katy is, you add high schools. When you’re as good as Katy High is at football year in and year out, your coaches can often springboard to other jobs. That’s the case with B.J. Gotte, who will be the head coach of the new Katy Paetow High School after serving as the offensive coordinator of the Katy Tigers since 2012.

Gotte coached some of the most dominant Katy teams of all time, including the 2015 Tigers, who may have had the best defense in the history of high school football. The new high school will be absolutely gorgeous, but time will tell if the product that Paetow puts on the field will be good enough to compete with the big dogs of the Katy district.
