Baylor has received their second high-profile transfer in the Matt Rhule era in 4-star recruit and DE James Lockhart from Texas A&M.
Lockhart announced via Twitter his decision to transfer to Waco after spending his previous two years in College Station. The former Ennis recruit had saw some action as a freshman and sophomore and will be sitting this upcoming season to have two years of eligibility.

The news does not come as a total surprise to the Baylor staff as it had been expected in previous weeks after Lockhart announced back in mid-December that he would be transferring from Texas A&M.
He played in 8 games and registered 12 tackles behind Myles Garret and Daeshon Hall. Lockhart will be adding some depth to the Baylor defensive front and have the potential for immediate playing time come 2018.
